Job Responsibilities

Supervising the team that develops and applies advanced Quality Assurance/Control methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and directing the work of Quality auditors & Hydrogen Leak Testers.
  • Reviewing and relaying opportunities for improvement with documented processes & testing procedures identified by subordinates & recommendations from fellow staff.
  • Reporting findings & escalations to immediate manager.
  • Ensuring team compliance with leadership directives (daily, monthly & annually).

Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Education: 4 Year degree preferred in technical area or similar experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 1-year related experience.
  • Motivated self-starter with initiative to improve processes & procedures.
  • Good understanding of production areas, process flows, equipment, and product.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude with ability to adapt in an evolving work environment.
  • Ability to read specifications.
  • Ensure work instruction compliance & all subsets.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Good understanding of customer requirements.
  • Effective at training & identifying gaps to correct.
  • General understanding of GD&T & best practices for measurement systems.
  • General understanding of HVAC processes.
  • Approachable & coachable.
  • Reliable.
  • SAP knowledge & use.
  • Hold teammates accountable and mentor.
