Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct the respiratory therapy function for a major hospital or clinic area.
  • Assign personnel as required and identify staffing and equipment needs.
  • Train and evaluate personnel, maintaining accurate personnel files.
  • Perform blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests, participating in patient rounds and assisting with research.
  • Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure established for the department.
Requirements
  • Standard respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Standard hospital or clinic environment within a correctional facility.
  • Security clearance and pre-employment drug testing required.
