Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at Crestwood Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients. Under the direction of Physicians and the Respiratory Director, you will perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations.
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.
  • Collect and analyze arterial blood gases, administer aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments.
  • Initiate, monitor, and manage patient's oxygen through various devices, including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
  • Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
