We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures under the guidance of physicians.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist
- Provide care for patients during procedures
- Operate radiographic equipment and perform interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT or Board eligible certification
- New Mexico State licensure required
- BLS certification required
- One year radiologic experience
- Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
This role requires working in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment with exposure to ionizing radiation and various body fluids.
Physical RequirementsThe successful candidate will be able to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
