Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures under the guidance of physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist
  • Provide care for patients during procedures
  • Operate radiographic equipment and perform interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT or Board eligible certification
  • New Mexico State licensure required
  • BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year radiologic experience
  • Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
Work Environment

This role requires working in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment with exposure to ionizing radiation and various body fluids.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
