Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnostics and repairs, including AC, electrical systems
  • Advanced skilled level repairs, including major engine repairs, diesel after-treatment, and automotive fuel injection repairs
  • Inspect and test vehicles to identify cause of complaints for repairs
  • Ensure quality of repair work performed and deliver customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • Two (2) years or more experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • Able to take home assigned mobile service truck, as applicable, and secure vehicle and contents
  • Understand and adhere to Company policies in all areas
  • Proven hands-on mechanic, customer service, and account management skills
What We Offer:
  • Hourly Pay: $31.00 per hour based on experience

  • Sign-on Bonus: $2000 paid after 30 days and $2000 paid after 90 days
