This entry-level position in social services offers a competitive salary of $21.77 per hour along with a $500 sign-on bonus for full-time employees (bonus distribution: half on the second paycheck and the remainder after three months of employment). Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and management of the facility and its residents.
Work Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12 Midnight (subject to change as necessary)
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Monitoring: Observe, document, and ensure accountability of all residents within the facility and during community interactions by enforcing established rules and responsibilities. Manage and document transactions related to finances, medications, first-aid supplies, mail, visitors, accountability checks, and phone communications.
- Program Support: Assist and collaborate with Counselors in resident programming, which may include installing electronic monitoring devices, visiting residents at their homes and workplaces, and conducting alcohol and urine testing.
- Facility Oversight: Conduct and document regular inspections of the premises to ensure the health, safety, and accountability of residents. Maintain compliance with physical plant safety and sanitation standards.
- Policy Adherence: Maintain a thorough understanding of and comply with all procedures and policies outlined in the Statement of Work, Physical Plant, and Operations Manuals. Be proficient in emergency drills, life safety protocols, facility sanitation, and unusual occurrence procedures.
- Work Flexibility: In case of staffing shortages, be prepared to work necessary hours and accept reassigned shifts without prior notice. Attend and engage in all required meetings and appointments, some of which may occur off-site.
- Sanitation Duties: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the workplace, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and disposing of trash.
- Additional Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned by the Director. The organization reserves the right to modify operational standards, including staffing requirements and qualifications, to ensure the quality and continuity of services. Changes may impact qualifications for continued employment in this specific role.
Qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations. A minimum of one year of paid work experience is necessary.
