Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to the needs of our patients, incorporating safe and useful exercises to promote physical well-being.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to patients in achieving their exercise goals, ensuring they leave each session feeling refreshed and motivated.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and store gym equipment in a neat and organized manner, reporting any maintenance needs or broken equipment to the relevant authorities.
  • Training and Education: Participate in instructor trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in fitness programming.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services, maintaining a professional attitude and image at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical fitness setting, with prior experience in chemical dependency, eating disorders, trauma, and pain management.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess a minimum of 3 years of sobriety, with a strong commitment to maintaining a healthy and professional image.
