Job Summary

This is an on-call position to fill in when Food Service Assistants are out. The Substitute Food Service Assistant may work at various locations within the district, including elementary and middle schools.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food service operations, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Interact with students, staff, and parents in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Valid California Driver's License and a safe driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Any combination of experience, training, and/or education that demonstrates the knowledge and abilities listed above.
  • Fingerprint, TB, and POPP clearance.
  • Two to three current letters of recommendation.
