Job Summary

As a Handler/Shuttle Dr/Dot-6, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient movement of packages, operating mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages, and performing shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle. This role requires strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and efficient movement of packages

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level
  • Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
  • Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours
  • Ability to bend and squat for designated work hours
  • Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions if required at work location
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location
  • Ability to work with power and hand tools
  • Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
Working Conditions

This is a non-covered safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. A medical exam is required in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Must meet qualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
