We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our neurology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to our neurology team, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication calculations, and digital radiography.
- Assist doctors during patient appointments and provide outstanding client communication and education.
- Perform sterile scrub and assist doctors throughout surgical procedures.
- Advocate for patients and provide exceptional comfort, diagnostic, surgical, and nursing care.
- Knowledge of equipment and materials used in the neurology department.
- Ability to work on calls, holidays/weekends, and overtime as needed.
- CVT or experienced nurse with a minimum of 3 years in emergency or specialty setting with advanced anesthesia experience.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written; organizational skills; proactive thinking and a positive attitude.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and a commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
- Competitive hourly wage ($23-32/hr).
