Our team is committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients. We are seeking a skilled Office Engineer to join our Redmond, WA team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent review and assessment of applicable deliverables during construction. Document reviews in published assessment reports.
  • Evaluate and research Release For Construction (RFC) documents, Smartsheet ROM (Record of Materials) Tracking, Inspection and test plans and procedures, IDR (Inspectors Daily Report) review and processing, and Construction-Phase Submittals Review.
  • Perform independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) during construction activities, including independent inspections and independent sampling and testing.
  • Prepare progress reports and assessment reports.
  • Verify as-built drawings and evaluate technical submittals.
  • Ensure inspection plans and procedures meet Technical Contract Requirements.
  • Verify construction items for conformance to RFC drawings and specifications.
  • Interface with various team members and assist senior materials engineer with putting together reports, analysis presentations, audit research, gap analyses, fit-for-service analyses, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or similar.
  • A driver's license.
  • Basic knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to write technical reports.
  • Web-based storage systems.
  • Thorough understanding of document control systems.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge and understanding of QC/QA, Materials Engineering, and construction activities preferred.

Other Qualities:

  • Ability and willingness to travel to site locations to perform work on occasion.

Compensation:

$30 - $36 hourly.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
