Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Contract Management: Ensure that contractors adhere to contractual obligations and project specifications.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and approve payments. Implement cost-saving measures and manage change orders.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of milestones. Address delays or issues that impact the project timeline.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may affect project outcomes.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations. Facilitate meetings and maintain open communication channels.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and correspondence. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts, disputes, and issues that arise during the project. Collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction with a focus on owner representation. 10+ years preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera).
  • Leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, CMIT) are a plus.
