Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out a range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and servicing guest rooms and public areas daily.
  • Restock guest room supplies, empty trash bins, and rearrange furniture and decor as needed.
  • Provide linens and amenities to guests according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure rooms are left in a neat arrangement as per housekeeping standards, ensuring doors are securely closed and locked.
  • Take note of and fulfill special requests from guests.
  • Receive, unload, and check in laundry on a daily basis.
  • Transport laundry to designated areas and distribute as required.
  • Report any damages, hazards, or repairs needed, as well as any suspicious individuals in assigned areas.
  • Return lost items found in guest rooms or public areas to the Housekeeping department.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms across various floors.
  • Regularly clean high-traffic public spaces, including the lobby, dining areas, elevator banks, and entrance driveways.
  • Ensure all corridors and service areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Sanitize the fitness room regularly.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.
  • Notify management of any suspicious activities during shifts.
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
  • Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards and hotel rating guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Deliver newspapers, messages, packages, or other items requested by guests or team members as needed.
  • Maintain visibility during peak periods to assist guests.
  • Greet guests in hallways and public areas with a friendly demeanor and offer assistance.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior cleaning experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a desire to build a career in hospitality.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job functions.
  • Ability to navigate various areas of the property to assist team members.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Regularly required to see, speak, and hear; use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with arms.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of maneuvering a fully loaded cart weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining a positive and courteous attitude in fast-paced and noisy conditions.
  • Successfully complete the pre-employment process.
  • Obtain and maintain all necessary licenses.
