Medical Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of radiation therapy treatments.

• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and commissioning of radiation therapy equipment.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement and radiation safety activities.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and the overall team effort of the department.

• Master's degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
• Board certification in Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a progressive cancer center or facility.
• Preferred: ABR certification in Radiation Oncology.
