Fleet Supervisor

The Road Supervisor is a key position at MTM Transit, responsible for ensuring that all fleet operations meet company standards and comply with relevant governmental and regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing the efficient mechanical operation and appearance of each vehicle, as well as monitoring accident and injury investigations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee on-time performance measures of drivers and monitor daily driving and safety practices.
- Provide oversight of the fleet maintenance program to ensure vehicles are properly maintained.
- Respond to and coordinate data and photo collection at accident and incident scenes.
- Investigate and assist with accident determination.
- Assist drivers with questions, customer assistance, and on-the-road support.
- Assist customers with information and complaint resolution.
- Provide management with reports to evaluate route and schedule effectiveness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience working in a supervisory role preferred.
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Experience working in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of DOT and FTA safety regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of accident investigation.
- Knowledge of safety and training practices and procedures.
- Ability to communicate, teach, and mentor employees.
- Must be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skills.
- Quick to process information and make adjustments or recommendations.
- Skills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
- Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.
