About the Role

Huntington Beach Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Operate and maintain computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images.
  • Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures.
Requirements
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
  • CT ARRT Certification required (effective 07/01/2015).
  • BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills.
