We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care team at Adventist HealthCare. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status, taking prompt action to address any concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a critical care setting.
- Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications and 1 year of current critical care nursing experience within your specialty in a hospital environment.
