Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Academic Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in developing innovative solutions to improve access to emergency medical care for vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct cutting-edge research focused on improving access to episodic care through emergency departments, urgent care centers, and primary care practices.
* Develop and implement innovative solutions aimed at improving access to emergency medical care for vulnerable populations.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and researchers to drive forward initiatives in population health.
* Engage in academic activities, including teaching and mentoring, to foster the next generation of emergency medicine professionals.
* Contribute to the Department of Emergency Medicine's mission through clinical practice, research, and academic service.
Qualifications:
* MD or equivalent medical degree, with a strong background in Emergency Medicine.
* Demonstrated interest and experience in population health, healthcare systems, and healthcare innovation.
* Proven track record of research or projects focused on improving healthcare access and quality.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Commitment to excellence in clinical care, research, and education.
