Float Radiologic Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Float Radiologic Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients and referring specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce diagnostic images in assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Perform quality control tasks as assigned, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Promote excellent customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiologic Information System (RIS).
  • Work with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in Surgical and Outpatient procedures.
Department Support:
  • Participate in staff meetings, contributing to employee involvement and growth.
  • Assist in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual.
  • Answer department phone calls, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual.
