RBD Plant Operator

At PYCO Industries, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RBD Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Refining, Bleaching, and Deodorizing (RBD) plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain RBD plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and control process parameters to ensure product quality and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; up to one year of experience or training preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Occasional work in high, precarious places and exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
- Use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, respirators, hearing protectors, etc., required in designated areas.
