We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Interventionist to join our team at Dickson County Schools. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of special education services.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small group settings.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's educational progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current TN Teacher License with appropriate endorsements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for working with students with special needs.
