Job Title: Flight Simulator Technician

Purpose of Position

The Flight Simulator Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing flight training devices (FTDs) in accordance with regulatory authority requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform standard simulator support activities, including configuration changes and troubleshooting.
  • Identify, repair, or replace electrical and hydraulic system components with minimal assistance.
  • Monitor simulator performance and condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of governing regulations and safe employment practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in electronics or completion of a civilian/military electronics technical school preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience in electronics or related technical field.
