Purpose of Position
The Flight Simulator Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing flight training devices (FTDs) in accordance with regulatory authority requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standard simulator support activities, including configuration changes and troubleshooting.
- Identify, repair, or replace electrical and hydraulic system components with minimal assistance.
- Monitor simulator performance and condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of governing regulations and safe employment practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Associates degree in electronics or completion of a civilian/military electronics technical school preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience in electronics or related technical field.
