Job Description

The Simulator Technician II position plays a critical role in supporting the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Hunter AAF, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks, including troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing military simulator components, following detailed instructions.
  • Utilize spare/repair parts to repair faults in accordance with technical guidelines.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that cannot be resolved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
  • Work under the supervision of a higher-level technician.
  • Capture and record accurate and timely maintenance history, ensuring that unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS).
  • Share maintenance issues and general operations updates with senior technicians.
  • Support quality/ISO, security, and safety training programs.
  • Safeguard all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage.
  • Be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation.
Requirements:
  • Three years of past experience with electronic equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Experience with UH-60M/L BAT and other related equipment is desired.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturers' manuals and technical documents.
  • Ability to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC) for access to other installations.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and post driving privileges.
  • Ability to work occasional shift, night, weekend, or holiday hours in support of military training.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
