MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is actively seeking a Full-Time ICU Nocturnist

MedChi, the leading medical society in Maryland, is looking for a board-certified/eligible Intensivist to become a vital part of a dedicated Nocturnist team.

This facility is a fully accredited acute care community hospital that offers a wide range of healthcare services, including advanced surgical treatments, diagnostic testing, emergency care, and more.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Care delivered in an exclusively inpatient environment with a collaborative, closed model ICU (15-bed Adult Medical and Surgical ICU) and 4-bed closed model IMCU (intermediate care unit)
  • Management of all hospital emergencies, including rapid response teams, codes, and necessary procedures
  • Exclusive night shift coverage (7P-7A)
  • 7 on-7 off schedule
  • Average patient load of 12 to 14

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BC/BE in Critical Care Medicine
  • Proficient in critical care procedures
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of Maryland
  • A collaborative team player
