Preston Pipelines Inc., a General Engineering and General Building contractor in the Bay Area, is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Manager. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive safety excellence throughout the organization.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CAL OSHA regulations and implementing effective safety protocols to minimize risks and prevent accidents. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

Preston Pipelines Inc. has been delivering excellence as an Underground Engineering Contractor in California for over 40 years. We complete close to 200 projects annually for Developers, Contractors, and Municipalities, with a focus on delivering value to our clients through exceptional service and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • Computer experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe) is a plus
  • Electrical Safety experience preferred
  • Trenching and Excavation experience a plus
  • SWPP/QSP Certification is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in Cal OSHA Regulations
  • Perform job site audits & inspections
  • Conduct safety training/presentations
  • Perform accident investigations
  • Participate in & lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings
  • Work independently with minimal guidance
Requirements
  • Four year occupational safety/health degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or construction safety experience required
  • Professional safety certification preferred
