Job Summary

The Junior Mold Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the development of injection molding tools from specification creation to production transfer. This includes leading technical project teams, developing tool specifications, and ensuring effective communication with customers and external toolmakers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tooling strategies to meet customer requirements
  • Lead technical project teams to design, develop, and test injection molding tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective tool production
  • Conduct feasibility analyses and support design-for-manufacturing assessments
  • Participate in tool design approvals and sampling processes
  • Prepare documentation for validation and quality management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in designing injection molding tools
  • 1-2 years of experience in testing tool designs in 2D and 3D environments
  • Solid understanding of qualification requirements in the medical industry
  • Proven experience in collaborating with suppliers and customers, and leading technical project teams
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
