About the Role:
Tarzana Recovery Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Individual and Family Therapy Sessions: Provide evidence-based interventions to clients, conducting individual and family therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns.
- Clinical Evaluations and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess client needs, abilities, and behavior, and develop treatment plans that address priority needs and desired outcomes.
- Crisis Intervention and Caseload Management: Provide crisis intervention services as needed, and manage a caseload of clients to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information.
- Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans, and participate in treatment team meetings to share knowledge and expertise.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: A recognized degree from an accredited professional school (MD, DO) required.
- Licensure: California Professional License (Social Work, Counseling or Psychology) required; Licensed Professional Counselor in Mental Health, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Experience: At least 2 years' experience in mental health settings.
- Knowledge/Abilities: Competent in individual, family, didactic, and group therapy modalities, with a strong understanding of evidence-based treatments and best practices in mental health care.
