Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a telemetry unit with a varied range of patients requiring cardiac monitoring. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, performing various tests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Perform various tests and procedures as needed, including cardiac catheterizations

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Michigan
  • Experience working in a telemetry unit
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • NHSS certification (if applicable)
