Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and evaluations for all patients presenting with psychiatric or behavioral concerns.
- Ensure accurate determination of medical necessity and explore alternative care options when appropriate.
- Facilitate the collection and assessment of patient information for insurance providers; manage pre-certification and ongoing stay authorization processes.
- Collaborate with the utilization review team to ensure quality care and compliance.
