Marathon Fitness is one of the largest independently owned distributors of Precor/Peloton commercial fitness products in the United States. Our corporate headquarters, showroom and distribution center are in Stafford, Texas where all major sales, customer service and distribution are managed to serve the states of Texas and Arizona. Additional distribution warehouses located in Round Rock, Grapevine, and Arizona. Our corporate clients include Shell, Conoco, BP, Dell, Valero, Apple, and Dropbox to name a few. Position Overview:

Assist in the achievement of sales; support the sales team of Marathon Fitness. Comfortable making dozens of calls per day, qualifying prospects and cultivating leads from our lead source data software. Research the specific industry sites for new customer opportunities. Support social media engagement and growth.

  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics
  • Data entry and computer skills a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
  • Must have reliable transportation


Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct sales into West Texas vertical markets as defined by Director of Sales
  • Achieve Sales Quota as assigned
  • Provide inside sales support as required to outside sales team
  • Work any assigned leads; effectively managing the sales process from concept to creation
  • Effectively utilize CRM, Microsoft Business Suite, and manage spreadsheets
  • Market Research and Analysis into assigned market(s)
  • Data entry and tracking
  • Cold calling and email communication
