Role Summary: We are looking for a full-time Production Assembler/Shipping Support professional responsible for manufacturing and assembly tasks, along with shipping and warehouse assistance. The primary responsibility will involve assembling irrigation controllers designed to aid clients in conserving water.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in assembly or warehouse operations (shipping experience preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers)
  • Fundamental math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and label creation
  • Physical capability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 40 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification
  • Experience in shipping and receiving processes (preferred)
  • Familiarity with forklift operation (preferred)

Job Type: This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Work Environment: This role is fully on-site. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with optional overtime and weekend shifts as required. The job entails approximately 80% assembly work and 20% shipping tasks, with the possibility of shifting focus as needed. The work environment includes both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned areas. Team members will receive training on computer usage and have opportunities for professional growth, including forklift certification. The position involves handling boxes measuring 12x22 inches and weighing 22 lbs.
