About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly available and scalable migration platform
  • Implement the entire software lifecycle – development, testing, CI/CD and production operations
  • Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns
  • Write run books, ops automation, structured logging, instrumentation for metrics and events
Requirements
  • 2+ years of backend software development experience
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
  • Experience on GitHub/Bitbucket, TeamCity/Hudson, Maven/Gradle
  • Built operating tools and dashboards for large data pipelines
  • Experience with at least one scripting language for automating tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform
  • Work with large volumes of data and logging
  • Understanding of key performance indicators and how to dig into them
