MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Services Distribution Specialist to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and distributing inventory to par locations of medical supplies and equipment to nursing units and other user areas as assigned. The successful candidate will work closely with the Materials Management Department to ensure accurate and timely delivery of supplies.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and maintain accurate product needs, inventories, and replenish supplies located on the nursing units and other user areas based on par levels established.
- Recognize and communicate changes of supply needs and report recommendations to supervisor for investigation and adaptation.
- Deliver medical equipment and supplies to and from usage areas as assigned.
- Conduct physical inventory of assigned areas routinely established by supervisor to maintain accurate data within the Pyxis and open Par Carts.
- Maintain accurate daily paper and electronic records on all transactions within the Storeroom and Pyxis.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years' warehouse experience preferred.
This position offers a competitive salary of $19.58 per hour and the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region.
