SUPPLIER QUALITY & SERVICES COORDINATOR

Jagemann Stamping Company is seeking a committed Supplier Quality & Services Coordinator to support suppliers in achieving quality benchmarks and fostering ongoing enhancements. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, administrative duties, and coordinating transportation with external suppliers for various services including plating and heat treating.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Assess supplier performance and relay insights to the Quality and Purchasing teams.
  • Advise on supplier retention or discontinuation based on performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily interactions with suppliers, expedite product delivery, and manage logistics.
  • Organize orders in alignment with production requirements, supplier timelines, and transport capabilities.
  • Track supplier progress and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any delays.
  • Perform supplier audits, maintain Supplier Scorecards, and drive Corrective and Preventative Actions.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers to enhance quality management systems.
  • Facilitate the movement of work-in-process to external service providers as per established routing protocols.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of ISO, IATF16949, or VDA compliance standards
  • Expertise in Problem-Solving Techniques such as five whys and cause-and-effect analysis
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and processes
  • Comprehension of external supplier operations
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Certified forklift operator

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: At least two years in a quality or logistics position
