Role Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist operates advanced imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic x-ray procedures. Responsibilities include capturing, annotating, and transmitting patient images, as well as assisting both clinical and administrative teams with various patient-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize x-ray machinery to execute standard diagnostic examinations.
  • Position patients appropriately and modify equipment settings for optimal imaging.
  • Monitor patient vital signs throughout the imaging process.
  • Adjust radiation exposure parameters based on individual patient needs.
  • Authorize patient discharge following the completion of imaging procedures.
  • Evaluate radiologic images for quality attributes such as density and contrast.
  • Prepare images for review by radiologists or physicians.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and workspaces.
  • Restock necessary medical supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Document patient records accurately and manage billing codes for imaging services.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Possession of a current ARRT license.
  • Willingness to travel to various clinic locations as required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective workflow management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Professional demeanor towards patients and collaborative relationships with healthcare colleagues.
  • Understanding of compliance standards and documentation protocols.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
