Aveanna Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients, helping them to transition home from the hospital and receive the continuous care they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation of Physicians' Prescribed Plan of Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with our patients' physicians and healthcare teams.
- Patient Assessments and Coordination of Care: Conduct thorough assessments of our patients' needs and coordinate their care with our multidisciplinary team.
- Administration of Prescribed Medication, Treatments, and Therapies: Safely administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by our patients' physicians.
- Compliant, Timely Documentation of Care Provided: Accurately and thoroughly document all care provided to our patients in our electronic system of record.
- Health Promotion, Teaching, and Training of Family Members: Educate and empower our patients' family members to provide ongoing care and support.
- Responsible for Accepting and Writing Verbal Orders from Physicians: Safely and effectively communicate with our patients' physicians to obtain verbal orders and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Active, Unencumbered License (RN/LPN/LVN): Possess and maintain an active, unencumbered license in the state in which you will practice.
- Current CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
- TB Skin Test (Current within Last 12 Months): Have a current TB skin test within the last 12 months.
- One Year Prior Hands-On Nursing Experience: Possess one year of prior hands-on nursing experience.
- Reliable Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from patient visits.
