About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Harmony House Care Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care by assisting the Occupational Therapist with the design, implementation, and delivery of customized occupational therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing occupational therapy programs to help residents perform daily tasks independently.
  • Work closely with the therapy team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
  • Unencumbered State of Iowa COTA certificate.
  • One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (preferable but not required).
