About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Chief Engineering Operations Manager to join our team. This role will play a critical part in our engineering department's success, focusing on business development, marketing, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with studio Ops Directors and National Director of Engineering on work sharing and recruiting coordination as required.
  • Identify engineering business development opportunities across studios, including speaking/publishing opportunities, client outreach, and project identification.
  • Work with National Director of Engineering to set strategic goals for discipline growth and best practice advancement.
  • Attend client meetings and communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact firmwide for fire protection and team subject matter expert in life safety, fire suppression, and fire alarm.
  • Perform marketing and business development activities, including building relationships with key clients and strategic partners, proposal writing, fee estimates, and client interviews.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a commitment to fostering and developing high-level talent.
  • Supervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior-level engineers and technical staff.
  • Plan/forecast staffing resources/needs for multiple projects across multiple studios.
  • Lead and collaborate with multiple teams across multiple offices in a multi-discipline environment.
  • Travel for marketing and project-related activities will be required.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
