PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the scheduling, organization, and production of high-quality goods within the designated area
  • Recruit, train, and inspire production leads and operators
  • Direct and oversee the daily operations of the production teams
  • Collaborate with team members to proactively address and resolve production challenges
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation in accordance with company protocols
  • Facilitate training for team leads and operators on best practices, including GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP
  • Uphold the company's standards of excellence in a dynamic, team-focused environment with clear roles and expectations
  • Identify, develop, and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency and quality
  • Guarantee that all products are manufactured in compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that team members accurately document material usage, labor hours, and production activities
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to personnel, product, processes, and equipment
  • Maintain high service levels to internal stakeholders and ensure departmental commitments are fulfilled
  • Actively participate in team meetings to contribute to the achievement of company objectives
  • Ensure timely delivery of products while meeting all customer specifications
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

  • Compliance with safety programs and training initiatives
  • Achievement of quality performance targets
  • Reduction of waste, rework, and product loss
  • Maintenance of scheduled production line efficiency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage manufacturing or co-packing
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, organization, and leadership
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and quality control systems
  • Commitment to personal and team safety by adhering to safety protocols
  • Understanding of equipment and production processes with a focus on efficiency and quality improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ERP/MES/MRP systems is advantageous

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift weights between 50 to 60 pounds
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, twist, and kneel as required
  • Capacity to work in high-temperature settings
  • Tolerance for prolonged exposure to heat
