The Critical Care Patient Care Specialist is a vital member of the patient care services team at LifeBridge Health, providing high-quality care to adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients as directed by the Registered Nurse. This role requires a deep understanding of the principles of growth and development, ensuring that care meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care services in a critical care setting, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Use knowledge of growth and development principles to tailor care to the individual needs of each patient.
- Assist with vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and other patient care activities as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Participate in patient education and support, promoting a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than 2 years of previous acute care experience preferred.
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification required.
- Minimum of 17 years of age required.
