Job Summary:

As a skilled oncology patient care specialist at LifeBridge Health, you will provide professional nursing care for patients with cancer, working under general supervision to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of age-specific differences in patient populations, including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and self-care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest oncology nursing practices and evidence-based guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
  • 4-7 years of oncology nursing experience, with a preference for outpatient settings.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ONS certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy.
  • Registered nurse licensure in the state of Maryland.
