Job Summary

As a Data Analyst on the Commercial Enterprise Analytics team, you will play a key role in transforming datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Using your expertise in SQL, SAS, or PowerBI, you will perform analysis and create compelling visualizations and reports. Your work will enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and guide crucial business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow analysts and cross-functional teams to address business needs and communicate insights effectively.
  • Translate technical data into impactful business strategies to shape commercial success and drive growth.
  • Monitor all aspects of premium production, including new business flow and retention.
  • Aggregate and perform analysis on business data based on requests from leadership within the Commercial Enterprise.
  • Ensure data quality in reported results and identify business trends.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • 4-6 years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Analytical and proficient with numbers and formulas.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and Business Objects.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Understanding of insurance metrics and databases.
