Head of Commercial Sales Operations

Blue Yonder seeks a results-driven Head of Commercial Sales Operations to lead the transformation of our sales processes and methodologies. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and refining a unified sales process that supports commercial product and services sales, delivery, renewals, and customer success.

Main Objectives:

  • Development of a unified sales process to support commercial product and services sales, delivery, renewals, and customer success.
  • Maintenance of sales methodologies and playbooks to ensure consistency and effectiveness in commercial sales efforts.
  • Implementation of new operating engagement between Global Sales and Supply Chain Advisory organizations.

Sales Systems Management:

  • Implementation and maintenance of Martech and outreach tools aligned with commercial sales needs.
  • Optimization of CRM systems for commercial sales processes and user experience.
  • Administration of the commercial tech stack, including data management and campaign tracking.

Strategic Planning & Insights:

  • Design of sales coverage models and territories, definition of quotas, and administration of compensation plans.
  • Development of rules of engagement and bookings policies.
  • Establishment of full funnel metrics and delivery of KPI reporting and insights on sales verticals and overall business performance.

Enablement & Communication:

  • Leadership of enablement initiatives for commercial sales and delivery teams.
  • Ensuring consistent onboarding and continuous development for GTM teams.
  • Development and execution of communication plans to align commercial sales teams.

IPO Preparation:

  • Collaboration with corporate finance on initiatives to prepare the GTM organization for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
  • Development of investor-ready sales performance reports and growth narratives with executive leadership.

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years of sales operations leadership experience is required. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in defining and implementing sales methodologies, processes, and playbooks, as well as extensive experience with CRM systems and technology integration.
