Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Completions Lead to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of our Completions shop, ensuring that work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while meeting quality and quantity requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the Completions shop, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with current approved technical data, including engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
  2. Assign and monitor workloads of department personnel, ensuring that all work is accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Ensure that department personnel are qualified and trained to perform work assignments, and provide technical expertise as required to engineering and management.
  4. Support the corporate safety, FOD, and 5S programs, and ensure that all required paperwork and documentation is completed.
  5. Assist the team in achieving milestone dates and meeting goals through proficient hands-on work, guidance, and ensuring required equipment and material is available.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years previous aircraft systems experience in the specific discipline of the lead position.
  2. Airframe and/or Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate is required.
  3. Must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull, and install 30-50 pounds unassisted.
  4. Must be able to wear all required safety equipment, be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, crawl, twist, bend, gain entry to, work in confined areas, and working from stands and ladders.
  5. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and shifts when required to meet business needs.
  6. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
