About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT to join our team at HealthPartners. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine office procedures, and assisting with medical interventions.
  • Assist patients with achieving basic health care goals, identify patient education needs, and provide instruction and referrals as needed.
  • Document observations, actions, and patient outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise information regarding procedures and care.
  • Perform telephone screening, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to infection control and OSHA standards.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN) or medical assisting program (MA) or EMT program with current licensure.
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • One year of working experience as an LPN is preferred.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, possess speech, hearing, and sight skills, and manual dexterity.
  • Proficiency in English, with proficiency in other languages may be required.
