Century, a Kleinfelder company, is seeking a motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing water resource systems, including stormwater management and drainage systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform calculations for drainage design, including spread, pipe and swale capacity, hydraulic grade line, and shear stress
  • Design and analyze erosion and sediment control practices
  • Prepare reports and analyses for drainage and stormwater designs
  • Review and comment on water resource related elements of project plans
  • Perform investigation, analysis, and reporting on water resource and drainage related studies
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and adhere to submission schedules
Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years of stormwater, drainage, and hydraulic design experience
  • 4-year degree from an ABET accredited higher education institution in an engineering related field
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and CAD software (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
  • Ability to plan and organize work, analyze and solve problems, and prepare and support comprehensive designs
