Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The Cleaning Specialist will assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. To excel in this role, the Cleaning Specialist must effectively perform the essential duties outlined below.

Core Duties:
Schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work as necessary.

1. Transport materials between different departments.

2. Organize and maintain boxes, pallets, and products in a tidy manner.

3. Remove lint, dust, oil, and grease from machinery, lighting fixtures, and shelving.

4. Clean floors and surfaces.

5. Collect reusable scrap for recycling.

6. Sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other areas as required.

7. Wash walls and ceilings.

8. Empty waste containers, manage recycling, and clean ashtrays.

9. Dispose of trash and waste appropriately.

10. Replace light bulbs as needed.

11. Ensure signage is clean and correctly positioned.

12. Maintain cleanliness of the facility grounds.

13. Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move materials within the facility.

14. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED is required.

2. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

3. Availability to work overtime as required.

3. Meet deadlines under pressure.

4. Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

5. Adhere to safe working practices as instructed.

Physical Demands:


The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The role requires the ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds. The associate will frequently stand, walk, and climb.

While performing the duties of this position, the associate may work in varying temperatures and be exposed to outside weather conditions. Noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
