Key Responsibilities:

  • Loads and unloads freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Moves product to storage areas using proper equipment and efficiently stacks and stores merchandise
  • Picks orders for shipment and assembles various types of merchandise
  • Processes orders, including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and shipment confirmation
  • Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Checks and verifies freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
  • Conducts operations in a manner promoting safety
  • Conducts sanitation functions as requested
  • Assists in physical inventories, as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
  • Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
  • Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation
  • Ability to access all areas of the building without limitations
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must have attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits:

NFI Industries offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.75, with the potential for an additional $1.00 per hour based on shift work. Our robust benefit program includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, 401(k) plan, wellness program, life insurance, paid time off, and paid parental leave, among other benefit plan options.
