We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Paris Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Endoscopy Department, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, directing, and coordinating administrative duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staffing and scheduling of personnel to meet the needs of the department
- Coordinating and directing patient care to ensure patients' needs are met and hospital policy is followed
- Formulating a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluating effectiveness of learning
- Utilizing knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition
- Reducing the potential for medication errors by following the five medication rights
- Adequately assessing and reassessing pain, and utilizing appropriate pain management techniques
- Educating the patient and family regarding pain management
- Visiting patients daily to ensure their needs are met
Requirements:
- Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition
- Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain
- Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
