- Inventory Management: Oversees inventory, ordering, and food cost management, ensuring that we maintain optimal levels of stock and minimize waste.
- Staff Supervision: Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and counseling kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Performance Reviews: Conducts regular performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals and providing feedback for improvement.
- Leadership: Leads meetings and pre-shifts to ensure that the kitchen team is aligned with our goals and objectives.
- Quality Control: Ensures that all food is prepared to the highest standards, adhering to our recipe guidelines and food safety regulations.
- Safety and Maintenance: Ensures that the kitchen team is operating and cleaning all equipment safely and correctly, performing regular safety and maintenance walk-throughs to identify areas for improvement.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' related progressive experience as a high-level Sous, CDC, Exec Sous, Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with various levels of management.
- Education: Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
- Physical Demands: Physical demands include light work, prolonged walking and/or standing along with the occasional exertion of up to 40lbs of force.
